Payroll Management

Payroll that is built from the month you already recorded.

Payroll Management runs the salary sheet off the same employee record as attendance and leave, so the month is not rebuilt in a workbook. Allowances, deductions and job groups are configured once, the sheet is generated from them, and slips issue from the sheet with a status you can track. Tax and provident fund are handled in the same place, not in a parallel spreadsheet.

In the product

Allowances, deductions, job groups, salary sheet, salary slips with status tracking, salary change requests and approvals, plus tax, tax adjustment, tax summary and PF summary.

What it does

What Payroll Management covers.

Each item below is a part of the module as it ships today.

Allowances and deductions

Earning and deduction heads are defined once and applied through job groups, so a change to a head does not mean editing every employee.

Job groups

Employees are grouped for pay purposes, which is what the salary sheet is built against.

Salary sheet

The month’s sheet is generated from the configured heads and the attendance and leave already recorded against each employee.

Salary slips with status tracking

Slips issue from the sheet and carry a status, so you can see what has been generated, and what has not.

Salary change requests and approvals

A pay change is raised as a request and runs through the configured approval flow, with an activity log of who approved it and when.

Tax, tax adjustment and tax summary

Tax is computed inside payroll rather than in a parallel workbook, adjustments are recorded against the employee, and the tax summary reports where each employee stands for the year.

PF summary

Provident fund is held and summarised alongside the salary sheet, so the PF position is read from the same records as the payslip.
